In the span of 11 minutes, the United States scored two goals, a penalty kick from Landon Donovan and a Benny Feilhaber tally in the 73rd minute, to give the Americans a 2-1 win against Mexico and its second consecutive Gold Cup. The USA have 9 wins in 12 games against Mexico since 2002 (they have lost twice).
